We offer a comprehensive Fashion Business bachelor course, primed to equip you with the essential know-how to jumpstart your career. As a result, our alums become successful fashion marketers, creative directors, buyers, skilled merchandisers, stylists, e-commerce managers, and more.
Designed to be completed over six trimesters full-time, our program is built around a comprehensive curriculum covering everything from business fundamentals to fashion design. By the time you graduate, you'll have completed 24 units and be ready to take on any challenge the fashion business can throw your way.

Electives may be chosen from the following units, or another unit chosen from the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Information Systems as approved by the Course Convener: HFE2011 Copywriting and Digital Content; or HF3206 Content Creation and Collaboration.
This course ensures our students are ready for a career in the creative industry by providing students with a range of learning modalities throughout the course. We focus on preparing our students for the variety of other roles that exist in the fashion industry (and there are many!).
Theoretical classes are combined with dynamic workshops that push students to think reflexively. Students put theory into practice with work experience opportunities including working on events such runway shows, photoshoots and industry events.
Students will develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge through a blend of creative and business subjects. Through a blend of creative subjects like design, photography, and editorial writing, alongside business-oriented courses such as marketing, branding, and entrepreneurship, students will gain the tools and insights needed to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of media and fashion industries

The Bachelor of Fashion Business course is designed to provide students with a wide breadth of knowledge of different aspects of management and business. The course meets the Australian Qualifications Framework specifications for a Level 7 Bachelor degree.
Accordingly, the graduates of the Bachelor of Fashion Business will be able to:
Holmes Institute Fashion do not require a minimum ATAR rank.
Instead, eligibility for admission is assessed through the candidate’s desire and commitment to success as demonstrated through an interview, personal statement, and/or portfolio.
And
Applicants who do not fulfil the educational requirements above may be considered eligible for admission if they have a significant work record or demonstrated record of professional practice.
Applicants are encouraged to apply as per usual, providing a personal resume with a detailed work history in addition to the standard supporting documents.
Applicants are encouraged to submit other evidence that demonstrates relevant skills or knowledge to support their application, but this is not an admissions requirement.
Each individual unit costs $2000. You must successfully complete 24 units to complete the degree.
The Bachelor of Fashion Business is supported supported by the Australian Government’s FEE-HELP scheme for eligible students. This means that for students studying under the FEE-HELP scheme, we don’t require upfront payments for course fees.
You may be eligible to apply for a FEE-HELP loan, which can be used to defer payment of your tuition fees.

Our Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business degree leads to employment in any number of business, management or administration-related roles.
The programme is also designed to lead to further study in cognate areas. This programme has been specifically designed to ensure graduates will be equipped with the relevant skills and competencies sought by employers today.
The digital focus prepares students for the new digital workplace and introduces the key technical innovations in modern business. The emphasis on using software applications as business tools opens the door to further learning and research and also prepares students for specialised programmes at postgraduate level.

What English Language qualifications can I use?
CEFR B2+ as evidenced through a recognised English language test such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL or Duolingo and taken within two years of application.
Is the course globally recognised?
Our course is fully accredited by QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) and included on the ILEP.
What is the living cost for students in Dublin?
If you’re planning to study in Dublin, you should be able to prepare ahead and gauge how much it will cost. With proper budgeting and careful planning, Dublin is affordable. We have provided an overview of the cost of living for students in the city.
What happens if I don't meet the English language requirements?
Students who do not meet the English Language requirement may enrol in a preparatory English Language programme from OHC English Dublin to prepare for a recognised English Language test.
How many intakes do you have?
We have 3 intakes per calendar year. February, June and October.
Can I work with an Ireland Student Visa?
If you are an international full-time student in Ireland, and you receive a Stamp 2 or 2A, you are free to work in Ireland (up to 40 hours a week) without having to obtain a separate work permit. However, there are restrictions. Please find out more information on Ireland Student Visa.
